Pre Tryout Camp

Pre Tryout Camp is a great way to get your player additional time in front of KCSG age group coaches prior to tryouts so that each player is given a more personal assessment of their level for team placement.

The tryout process can be overwhelming for parents, players and coaches.  There are a lot of kids all trying to do their very best in a short period of time and coaches doing their best to look at all players, assess their levels and get them placed on teams of players with similar abilities. By no means is this a perfect process so adding a pre tryout camp allows for more time and more personal interactions between coaches, players and parents. 

KCSG coaching staff will utilize our proven Scott Gallagher curriculum to help create a fun, challenging, and positive environment. Coaches will talk with parents, answer questions and help everyone understand the process. Camp format will include technical training, small sided activities and also game play so we can watch kids doing what they love to do - play. We look forward to the opportunity to work with your player(s) and we welcome you to our club family.

Pre-Tryout Camp Details

Evening Camp (June 6-7; 6-8p) - Paragon Star Soccer Complex = $40

Morning Camp (June 7-8; 9-11a) - Olathe Soccer Complex = $40

Both Camps - attending all four sessions = $60

This camp is for players currently on a competitive club team that wish to prepare for upcoming tryouts. It is also designed for recreational or new players as an introduction to the competitive game. All camp sessions will provide training with a focus on the technical and tactical aspects of the game in a fun, fast-paced environment.
